Thousand sparks of rebellion

The sparks of rebellion are mediocre for the stale eyes
but start flashing the light once the flame gets bright
the oppressing, dull tyranny will try to put out the flame
but it will have surpassed and spread to miles
flames are strong and impossible to put off
revolution will be inevitable

Even if someone closes the pot too tight
the pressure finds its way out
either from gaps or throwing out the lid
or breaking the pot altogether
this vapor is strong and impossible to be oppressed
and revolution will be inevitable

Thousand years of oppression ,
thousand years of grief
will give rise to thousand sparks of rebellion
It can revolutionize humanity
Because strangled ideas have to escape the tyranny
and revolution will  be inevitable

Warmth- a short story

Claire looked over the glass of milk mom forced her to drink everyday. The white liquid turned distasteful with every second she stared at it. When morning routine took over in Claire’s life she sought for new rules every time the sun rose. The sun spoke million words to Claire. Every word brought her warmth and hope. She was told that the sun was the ultimate source of light and related to all the positive things in life. Claire had questions unanswered about life. She questioned every mundane decision she made.
She wanted super powers just like the superheroes she read about in comics. She secretly wished that she was born a mutant or was a Demigod. She gulped down the whole glass of milk wishing she would gain super strength . She thought her goal in life was futile if she did not gain any super powers one way or another. She wanted to go forward with helping people but something stopped her. She still wanted answers to her questions.
Claire looked out of the window to see the sun glowing with all its might in the East waiting to set again heading towards west. Each morning Claire wanted to run to the sun and sun’s speed seemed faster with every moment gone.
This morning was different for Claire. She wanted to ask questions at any cost. She looked at the sun. She was blinded and she looked away. She somehow made attempts to look at it again. It seemed like the sun was calling her towards him, like he wanted to whisper something. She looked at it. This time directly in its eye. Claire was blinded this time and she couldn’t see anything else. She felt like something entered her eyes which would never leave. She couldn’t understand if her eyes were open or closed. She passed out on the floor with her questions unanswered.
After a while, Claire gradually opened her eyes. She rose up to her feet feeling an intense but invisible flame burning through her body which is as palpable as air. She glanced upon a plant nearby and saw it in a vast range of colors. It was confusing as she could never guess the actual shade of plant.
All Claire ever wanted was to give hopes and energy to her fellow human beings, but her inner self was fighting with her newly acquired abilities and life. She looked to her right and started crying. Her tears splashed out in the form of flames emitting immense heat.Her newly found energy was more than just emission of heat. It was all Claire believed in since when she was young. She felt like someone answered her questions. She felt like she was gifted although a bit late to help others. But she couldn’t believe herself. She couldn’t differentiate between dreams and reality for someone who always lived in her dreams.
“Claire help me! I am bleeding” Claire suddenly heard her little sister scream. Claire ran to her with the weight of her sunny abilities on her although not sure if they were helpful. Claire picked her sister’s hand and kissed it and dressed up the cut to stop bleeding and hugged her.
“I always find warmth around you. Thank you for filling me up with generous energy.” her sister said. Claire was grateful towards the sun for the warmth and her recent embodiment. She averted her eyes to a mirror next to her to see her heroic self. However, her face was pale and body humane. She kept staring at the mirror for a while. Finally, she said, “You don’t need superpowers after all”. Claire’s sister looked at her with a blank face.

A perpetual label stuck on your face
Traps your body behind callous cells
This painful trap hurts you inside
But your pain is too intricate to evaluate

The label tries to get to your knees,
Slows you down and mutilates your feet
Disabled you cannot shift through the space,
Cells get stronger with every move you make
The other face of the cell seems impossible to reach,
When you are ‘unworthy’ and in some severe pain

The warden laughs hysterically at your face
He sees the label and calls you name
The label is apparently too large to not notice
It is capitalized, made bold and underlined
He goes on further to wipe your ways
And will make sure you remain impaired for days

You may cry but it’d be inaudible
So others may not even hear your hollers
The label is the one to be blamed
It lingers as a barrier between you and the world

It might knock on your door

Past haunts and stalks us
it peeps now and it will peep then
It will come knocking on your door
and you'll run to it again
with mind frozen and heart enthralled

You will try to resist yourself
It is difficult as you'll then recall
what you cannot really erase from you
and has really made you who you are
but you will be squashed in your two faces

But then living in your past makes you sad
both expressively and as a person
and you'll try to look forward to a vivid fresh face
that makes you up and dresses you up
in a more assiduous way

You might seek for its traces in the new face
and replacements in a new grace
but faces are never the same again
even they are squashed between their two sides

You can sense your past in your heart
but it's gone farther than you assume
Just before you felt it by your side
It was gone on a path far and wide

Face is a canvas

The face is a canvas with
vivid, colorful strokes and detailed curves
each stroke of brush is my feel
I express them with a humble will

I can keep on painting forever
I want it to have errors
I want to commit mistakes
I want to ruin my painting
and fix it so real

the brush is my brain doing its own thing
it doesn't care what color I choose
it blends them in adequately,
it leaves adorable imperfections

The brush can change me,
a single curve with brush can make me smile
a single curve by brush can make me sad
few painted drops of water can make me cry
few details on my forehead can make me frown

The Pair of Happiness

The world was just Negative film
with clichéd frowns or overrated happiness
until I saw a studded layer in front of myself
Which could make miracles happen
When the devil who I thought was evil
was handed a pair of upbeat daisies

The wand worked at its best when
I could agree with someone's opinion
Until that someone who I thought was totally discrete,
could complete my sentences without efforts
It made me see the wide sea so scary
incarnated as a treasure of secrets and possibilities

They see what they want to see
they search for what they yearn to find
they notice what we can complete our life with
They can Find the Master-key to our hearts
Hidden by the centuries of Grief or Ego
That stop us from looking at ourselves

Because the cumbersome heart beats
turn into the gleam
Or the shock to the brain
makes the sight vacant
These beads of hope speak what we need
They make us believe in what we aim for
These eyes are what we are
and they make a perfect pair of merriment

Judgements

Hold down opinions about the person you just met
They may have a story to tell,
A tale as crude as a tempest
As pondering as an epic

The stranger is not what you just thought
They could be your soul mate or your finest friend
You never know what’s feasible until that happens
Wait till that person changes your life

The infuriating person you just heard
May be your redeemer some day
A person worth your wait
Someone you cannot let go

You never know if something’s a gaffe,
Until you make it
Give it a shot and be genial for the moment
You never know where it takes you to
