The city of love as it was defined,
‘dilwalon ki’ it was always described,
Royal heritage it possesses,
the great history of which it had the traces.
The ravishing city had the face,
with awe for it and the somber grace.
But day by day, beauty faded away,
Taking away, the sparkling sun’s ray.
Daily headlines abashed the city,
With time passing by, women lost their sovereignty.
The horrifying eyes, eyed them with no pity,
Left all the women scared and petrified in the city.
Still, some had the courage to stand up again
Revolve and protest against the evil and wicked brains.
The city can’t lose its grace this way
It is the capital of the country anyway.
With hope in hearts and plans in the mind,
We can fight and leave evil behind,
To all those who thought women are tender feebly
They are strong enough to defeat you bleakly.
